Proposed Itinerary:

Day 1 – Monday 28th April 2025 

Arrive  

Early morning flight to Paris. Our panoramic sightseeing tour of the highlights of Paris include the Trocadero for photo of  the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides, before continuing to the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal, Rue du Bac to celebrate  evening Mass and nearby visit the shrine of St Vincent de Paul. Check into the hotel for 2 nights, dinner, bed & breakfast. 

Day 2 – Tuesday 29th April 2025 

Paris  

Our panoramic sightseeing tour of the highlights of Paris continues and include Arc de Triomph, Champs Elysees and  Louvre museum. We will visit Paris Centre and stop at the grand Opera House to admire the splendid architecture. The  opera house was commissioned by Napoleon III. After lunch visit to Montmartre area. Attend Mass at the magnificent  Sacre Coeur Basilica atop Montmartre Hill. It is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and was originally built in 1914 as an  act of penance for the infidelity that France experienced during the time. In addition to the extraordinary artwork and  architecture of the basilica, you will see the beautiful mosaic of the Risen Christ and the remarkable Grand Organ. Celebrate Mass at the crypt that contains the tombs of many notable cardinals. Time permitting, you may have the opportunity  during your free time to ascend a staircase to the dome, where you will take in a breathtaking panoramic view of Paris.  After dinner, there will be an optional cruise on river Seine (€20). 

Day 3 – Wednesday 30th April 2025 

Lisieux  

Morning drive to Lisieux. Visit Les Buisonnettes where St Therese lived and the great Basilica dedicated to her. the Carmel  chapel and museum. Check into hotel for 2 nights dinner, bed and breakfast. 

Day 4 – Thursday 1st May 2025 

Normandy 

Today we will visit the Normandy Landing beaches. The Normandy landings were the landing operations that took place  on Tuesday, 6 June 1944 (termed D-Day) by the Allies, of Normandy, during World War II. As the largest seaborne  invasion in history, the operation began the liberation of German-occupied Northwestern Europe from Nazi control and contributed to the Allies’ victory on the Western Front. Continue on to visit The American & British Cemeteries, time  permitting. Return to Lisieux for dinner and an overnight. 

Day 5 – Friday 2nd May 2025 

Honfleur & Depart  

Morning Mass in Lisieux before continuing to Honfleur a city in northern France’s Normandy region. It’s on the estuary  where the Seine River meets the English Channel. The Vieux-Bassin (old harbour), lined with 16th- to 18th-century  townhouses, has been a subject for artists including Claude Monet and native son Eugène Boudin. Nearby is 15th-century  St. Catherine’s Church, a vaulted timber structure erected by shipbuilders, Free time in this lovely fishing town with  lovely walks along the harbour. Mid-afternoon depart for Beauvais airport for Ryanair flight FR29 to Dublin departing at 19 :20hrs and arriving in Dublin at 19:55hrs.
